Loading Microsoft SAPI 5.1 on Windows 2000

MS graciously provided step by step instructions for creating a msi installer file. KB320207
The download links in that KB are out of date. The .msm files are here:
Speech SDK 5.1

I choose this file set: Speech 5.1 SDK Redistributables file (SpeechSDK51MSM.exe)


I tried to install the Visual Studio 1.1 Installer from: Microsoft Visual Studio Installer 1.1

Of course it didn't work. The installer of the installer complained that "cannot install Visual Studio Installer without an eligible Visual Studio product on your machine". OK, I have at least VB6 loaded on my winXP system. I'll try this over there..... tomorrow.....
